Easy ordering, quick delivery. The earrings are made well. I've worn them for a week now without any reactions. My only request would be to have an option for earring backs that are flat to prevent the front of the earring from dropping forward.

These are small, as you can see in my second piercing. I like them though because they are small and dainty. I don't like anything large and flashy. I've been wearing earrings for Emma for a month, maybe a little longer. My ear piercings have never once bothered me.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have extremely sensitive ears and had gotten to the point that I couldn't wear earrings for an extended period—or even sleep in them—without my earlobes becoming irritated. I even tried implant-grade titanium posts with silicone backs and still had problems. I decided to try Earrings by Emma because of the plastic posts, and WOW! I have worn my 8 mm pearl studs for two days straight, even slept in them, and have had ZERO irritation. I also ordered several other pairs and have already worn the flower studs comfortably. I am so excited to be able to wear earrings again without my ears hurting! If you have very sensitive ears, these are absolutely worth trying.

I have always had sensitive ears but could handle the normal sensitive earrings , then 7 and a half yrs ago I had a double transplant ( liver and kidney) and my WHOLE WORLD changed. Now everything is super sensitive! And I can finally wear earrings AGAIN!!!! Im so THANKFUL! I love them!!!

I love my earrings! It has been years since I've been able to wear earrings. My ears instantly turn red and irritated with other earrings. When I first tried these on, I nervously waited for my ears to have a reaction. I'm so happy that I can wear earrings again!
Thank you for creating these. My daughter has Autism and is very picky when it comes to jewelry. She also has sensitive ears. The plastic is perfect! The backs do not bother while she sleeps.

Loving NO ear pain!!! However they didn't help prevent and abscessed tooth. But antibiotics Tylenol Aleve salt water swishing helped with that. Have a great week!
I love the look of the pearl earrings I bought three pairs, but at this point I only have one earring left that has not come apart from the Pearl to the base. I'm thinking about just buying some super glue to fix them but I have to say I am disappointed that they didn't last for more than a couple of weeks. I did not swim in them I did not sleep in them and I also did not shower in them.

We have recently replaced all of our pearl earrings with ones that we believe will be much more durable. My ear piercings are less than a year old and very sensitive. For 6 months I struggled using metal earrings that made my ears bleed and hurt. I finally decided to try these and they're great! No soreness and they're beautiful :)

Plastic posts are slightly thicker than metal ones. This may cause some initial temporary discomfort for people that have tiny ear piercings or if you haven’t worn earrings for a while. If you can wear the earrings for a few days, even if it's just for 20 minutes a day, while there could be some initial temporary discomfort during the transition period, there is not usually further irritation.

My daughter was having a ton of issues with everyday earrings causing painful irritation and she doesn’t like to wear her keep sake jewelry during everyday school life. The most common reason someone might have an issue with plastic is more the thicker size of the post than the plastic material itself. This is usually just the case for people that have tiny ear piercings or if you haven’t worn earrings for a while. If you can wear the earrings for a few days, even if it's just for 20 minutes a day, while there could be some initial temporary discomfort during the transition period, there is not usually further irritation. If you don't want to deal with the transition period, you are welcome to email us about our refund policy.

Our pearls do have a different post than the majority of our studs but they should hold up just as well. If they do break under our warranty within 2 years of purchase, send us an email and we will be happy to replace them for you.
Good to Know
What are the posts and hooks made of?
Posts and hooks are made from polycarbonate plastic, and the backs are a soft plastic called TPE. Some earring fronts include metal, but nothing metal touches your ear.
Do the dangles need backs?
No. The curved hooks stay in on their own, so backs aren’t needed or included.
Why do the studs come with two backs?
You get two sizes so you can pick the fit you like, plus a spare in case one goes missing.
Are they OK for new piercings?
They’re made for healed piercings only.
Can I sleep in them?
We don’t recommend it. Sleeping in them puts pressure on the glue, which can loosen the backs or pop a post off.
Will the stud posts feel thick?
Stud posts are a little thicker than dangle hooks. If your piercings are small or you haven’t worn earrings in a while, they may feel snug at first. Wearing them a few hours a day usually fixes that within a few days.
