The plastic we use, specifically Wonderlite PC-110 polycarbonate, is non-porous and complies with stringent safety and health regulations.

While being non-porous does not mean bacteria can't develop, it is less likely compared to porous surfaces.

Our manufacturer does not recommend using the plastic hooks and studs for new piercings. It's preferable to wait until the piercing has healed.

Our dangle earrings do not come with backs. Our plastic hooks have a curvature that allows them to stay in well on their own.

This is also for your safety so that if the earrings get caught on something or pulled by a little one, the earrings should thread out safely rather than rip your ear.

For your convenience, we include two pair of backs on all of our stud posts. It is not necessary to wear both backs at the same time.

The backs are two different sizes so you can wear the size you prefer.

Also, this gives you a back up pair in case you lose some.
