What to Know About Our Earrings
No Backs Needed for Dangles Dangles hug your ear with their curved design, so no backs are needed or included.
Extra Backs for Studs Studs include two sets of backs, with one set provided as a backup.
Thicker Posts on Studs Stud earrings have thicker posts than dangles, which may cause brief discomfort for people with smaller piercings or who haven’t worn earrings lately. Wearing them for a few hours each day should resolve the discomfort within a few days.
Sleeping in Earrings We don't recommend sleeping in them, although many customers do. It's just that sleeping in them can put prolonged pressure on the glue and can cause the posts to come off and/or the backs to loosen.
For Healed Piercings Only Our plastic posts are not recommended for new piercings, only healed piercings.
These plastic studs are awesome! I just got my ears freshly pierced with surgical studs - the ones that are supposed to be the MOST hypoallergenic metal option. I took very good care of them, but they still never felt like they were healing correctly as they never stopped hurting after the initial piercing. I was about to give up after about 3 months because it was just too much, when I discovered these plastic studs. And wow! What a difference! The relief was almost immediate and within 2 days they were no longer sore or tender to the touch. They felt, and still feel, amazing!
As for the quality of the Emmas earrings, they are some of the best quality I've ever bought. The designs are vivid, detailed, and super cute. The posts are sturdy and do not bend easily. The backings they provide are a godsend because they are bigger - I'm not very dexterous in my fingers and these backings are easy to put on the stud. They are also far less likely to slip off - haven't lost an earring yet!
Also, on top of the earrings, the shipping is lightening fast and packaged neatly and tightly.
All-in-all I *HIGHLY* recommend Emmas earrings. I will be purchasing more in the future.
I am so glad the instructions warned me that they would hurt the first few days. The “pain” is really just a pinch when going in, and it gets lesser each day! It’s been paradise compared to metal earrings. Appreciated the “blessings” note in my little package as well. Very sweet. I have tried so many things for my sensitive ears, and these may finally be the perfect solution. I get lots of compliments about how cute these gummy bears are, as a bonus. I plan to buy more of this brand soon!
Unfortunately there a gift for my granddaughter and I haven't been able to give them to her yet. When I did look at them they're absolutely darling and she's going to love them I can review it sometime in the middle of August thank you

Plastic posts are indeed slightly thicker than metal ones and this can be uncomfortable for some people at first, especially if you have tiny or new piercings, or if you haven't worn earrings for a while. If you can wear the earrings for a few days, even if it's just for 20 minutes a day, while there could be some initial temporary discomfort during the transition period, there is not usually further irritation. If you don't want to deal with the transition period, you are welcome to email us about our refund policy.
I got them for my daughter’s 5th birthday. She loves them.
My daughter has sensitive ears and we have tried so many different types of "hypoallergenic" earrings and they all still tend to turn her ears red/crusty but so far these ones have been amazing! Look forward to seeing new styles come out and continuing to support!

I cannot get enough of these plastic posts & hooks!!! I have now swapped out all of my metal dangly earrings to plastic hooks. So now I can finally enjoy all of the earrings I’ve had for many years that I was unable to wear.
These have been great for my 9 year old who has very sensitive ears. We’ve been able to wear these with no issues. She’s in ♥️♥️♥️ with her new earrings.
My daughter’s ears are so sensitive and we have always had a hard time finding earrings she could wear. I ordered her a few pairs of these earrings and she has done great with them. We will definitely purchase more!
I loved them and think they are very cute. However the 6 year old granddaughter I bought them for doesn’t like them because she says they are too big. Maybe her younger sister will like and wear them some day.

These broke the second time wearing them. I was very disappointed.

My 10 year old picked these out and she LOVES them. Unfortunately she inherited my extremely sensitive ears, and these have been a game changer. We will definitely be ordering again in the future!
We absolutely love these earrings. This is the only brand we have found that doesn’t irritate my daughter’s ears. There are so many fun designs to choose from.

We include 2 sizes of backs with each of our studs so for those with thicker lobes, we recommend trying the smaller ones. Dangles are another good option.
