I haven't been able to wear earrings for years. I had to get rid of all my metal (of any kind) jewelry as I started to react to it. Including my wedding ring. I now wear a silicone ring. Finding these earrings, of which I now have 9 different pairs, has been a true game changer.

Petite Leaf Dangles Hypoallergenic Earrings for Sensitive Ears with Plastic Posts

Love these! I haven't been able to wear earrings for more than a few hours, without my ears hurting, in yearssss. I've been wearing these for a week, only taking them out to sleep, and have had no discomfort. I highly recommend these to anyone who struggles with sensitivity to the metals in earring posts!

Petite Leaf Dangles Hypoallergenic Earrings for Sensitive Ears Made with Plastic Posts

I stopped wearing earings until I found these with plastic hooks. All metal hooks inflamed my ears and had to be taken out within hours. My ears were a little sore when I started wearing these in the beginning because these hooks are a little larger than metal hooks, but I can wear them all day without itching or pain & my ears are not inflamed!

Petite Leaf Dangles Hypoallergenic Earrings for Sensitive Ears Made with Plastic Posts

Good to Know

What are the posts and hooks made of?

Posts and hooks are made from polycarbonate plastic, and the backs are a soft plastic called TPE. Some earring fronts include metal, but nothing metal touches your ear.

Do the dangles need backs?

No. The curved hooks stay in on their own, so backs aren’t needed or included.

Why do the studs come with two backs?

You get two sizes so you can pick the fit you like, plus a spare in case one goes missing.

Are they OK for new piercings?

They’re made for healed piercings only.

Can I sleep in them?

We don’t recommend it. Sleeping in them puts pressure on the glue, which can loosen the backs or pop a post off.

Will the stud posts feel thick?

Stud posts are a little thicker than dangle hooks. If your piercings are small or you haven’t worn earrings in a while, they may feel snug at first. Wearing them a few hours a day usually fixes that within a few days.
