  • No Backs Needed for Dangles
    Dangles hug your ear with their curved design, so no backs are needed or included.
  • Extra Backs for Studs
    Studs include two sets of backs, with one set provided as a backup.
  • Thicker Posts on Studs
    Stud earrings have thicker posts than dangles, which may cause brief discomfort for people with smaller piercings or who haven’t worn earrings lately. Wearing them for a few hours each day should resolve the discomfort within a few days.
  • Sleeping in Earrings
    We don't recommend sleeping in them, although many customers do.  It's just that sleeping in them can put prolonged pressure on the glue and can cause the posts to come off and/or the backs to loosen.
  • For Healed Piercings Only
    Our plastic posts are not recommended for new piercings, only healed piercings.

The most common reason someone might have an issue with plastic is more the thicker size of the post rather than the plastic material itself. This is usually just the case for people that have tiny ear piercings or if you haven’t worn earrings for a while. If you can wear the earrings for a few days, even just 20 minutes a day for a week, while there could be some initial temporary discomfort during the transition period, there is not usually further irritation. If you are not interested in giving it a few more days, you are welcome to take advantage of our refund policy by sending us an email.

My granddaughter was having her 7th grade birthday party and I wanted to get these cute lady bugs earrings for her guest. She picked them out and I ordered them, however, I had forgotten that her parents had changed the date of her party to the next weekend. My daughter has been so happy with these earrings. She has wanted "fun" earrings for some time but most patterned earrings for children use cheap metal posts that irritate her ears. These earrings have not caused rashes or irritation of her ears. They are affordable and there are so many style options. She particularly loves the ladybug and butterfly patterns.
