My daughter wore these for two days and one fell out. Reached out to customer service and they offered nothing. Super disappointing.

Pastel Butterfly Dangles Hypoallergenic Earrings for Sensitive Ears with Plastic Posts

Store owner replied: I'm sorry your daughter lost an earring. As explained in our email correspondence, our dangle earrings are intentionally designed without backs. The curved plastic hooks usually help keep them in place while allowing them to pull free if caught or tugged, rather than potentially injuring the ear. Unfortunately, lost earrings are not covered under our warranty. We understand how disappointing it is to lose an earring so soon, but we hope this helps clarify why our dangles are designed this way.

These are super cute, small, and perfect for our 10 year old daughter who has issues with metals irritating her ears. We absolutely LOVE the plastic posts; they have been a total game changer for her! She loves being able to wear cute earrings and be “cool” like her friends without dealing with the pain and irritation she gets from metal posts. We are definitely returning customers and already have 20+ pairs! She loves having so many different ones to choose from, and we will absolutely continue adding to her collection. So happy we found these!

Pastel Butterfly Dangles Hypoallergenic Earrings for Sensitive Ears with Plastic Posts

They are super cute dainty little butterflies. Unfortunately my daughter’s ears are too sensitive for them. (So far my daughters ears has only been able to wear gold earrings but I was hopeful)

Pastel Butterfly Dangles Hypoallergenic Earrings for Sensitive Ears Made with Plastic Posts

Store owner replied: The most common reason someone might have an issue with plastic is more the thicker size of the post than the plastic material itself. This is usually just the case for people that have tiny ear piercings or if you haven’t worn earrings for a while. If you can wear the earrings for a few days, even if it's just for 20 minutes a day, while there could be some initial temporary discomfort during the transition period, there is not usually further irritation. If you don't want to deal with the transition period, you are welcome to email us about our refund policy.

All the earrings are cute. It would be nice to have the earring backs included.

Pastel Butterfly Dangles Hypoallergenic Earrings for Sensitive Ears Made with Plastic Posts

Store owner replied: Our dangle earrings do not come with backs. Our plastic hooks have a curvature that allows them to stay in well on their own. This is also for your safety so that if the earrings get caught on something or pulled by a little one, the earrings should thread out safely rather than rip your ear. Our studs, on the other hand, come with 2 sets of backs. However, they are not made to fit the dangles.

Good to Know

What are the posts and hooks made of?

Posts and hooks are made from polycarbonate plastic, and the backs are a soft plastic called TPE. Some earring fronts include metal, but nothing metal touches your ear.

Do the dangles need backs?

No. The curved hooks stay in on their own, so backs aren’t needed or included.

Why do the studs come with two backs?

You get two sizes so you can pick the fit you like, plus a spare in case one goes missing.

Are they OK for new piercings?

They’re made for healed piercings only.

Can I sleep in them?

We don’t recommend it. Sleeping in them puts pressure on the glue, which can loosen the backs or pop a post off.

Will the stud posts feel thick?

Stud posts are a little thicker than dangle hooks. If your piercings are small or you haven’t worn earrings in a while, they may feel snug at first. Wearing them a few hours a day usually fixes that within a few days.
