    Dangles hug your ear with their curved design, so no backs are needed or included.
  • Extra Backs for Studs
    Studs include two sets of backs, with one set provided as a backup.
  • Thicker Posts on Studs
    Stud earrings have thicker posts than dangles, which may cause brief discomfort for people with smaller piercings or who haven’t worn earrings lately. Wearing them for a few hours each day should resolve the discomfort within a few days.
  • Sleeping in Earrings
    We don't recommend sleeping in them, although many customers do.  It's just that sleeping in them can put prolonged pressure on the glue and can cause the posts to come off and/or the backs to loosen.
  • For Healed Piercings Only
    Our plastic posts are not recommended for new piercings, only healed piercings.

I actually really enjoyed these earrings! This was the free earrings style for the month of February 2023 (you have to sign up through email, then just pay shipping) and I am so glad that I got to pick the color. I picked white and I love them! They are probably around10-12mm size wise. Very comfortable! They are cute, lightweight and seem well made.

My daughter is getting married in June and I wanted to be able to wear earrings. I purchased these matte rose studs and the blue, gold fleck studs for my ten year old. They shipped quickly and were packaged well. They look and feel like very good quality. My daughter didn't necessarily have irritation from all metal earrings, but most of them tarnish and turn green. She says these earrings feel more comfortable to wear. They are are very cute-great design ideas. We love being able to support another homeschooler. Way to go Emma! We will be purchasing more in the future.

So these flowers are huge. They overlap tge ones you get for the free try. It makes me think they trick you with sizing to get you to buy more which is unfortunate.

Something that may help for the future: when you’re stacking earrings, second piercings are often placed quite close together, so smaller studs (around 7mm or smaller) tend to fit best side-by-side. I hope that’s helpful for you moving forward.

The posts were wider on these than the other studs. They immediately made my ears hurt and I cannot wear them.

Store owner replied: The most common reason someone might have an issue with plastic is more the thicker size of the post than the plastic material itself. This is usually just the case for people that have tiny ear piercings or if you haven’t worn earrings for a while. If you can wear the earrings for a few days, even if it's just for 20 minutes a day, while there could be some initial temporary discomfort during the transition period, there is not usually further irritation. If you don't want to deal with the transition period, you are welcome to email us about our refund policy.

I haven't been able to wear earrings now for several years. Whenever is would put earrings in my ears would immediately burn and sting and turn bright red. Tried 14k gold, sterling silver, titanium. Tried several different tricks. Neosporin on the posts, clear nail polish on the posts. But nothing helped. I found Earrings by Emma by accident and am so glad I did! I can finally wear earrings again! All of the earrings I've purchased now have been fantastic! Thank you so much!
