Stud earrings have thicker posts than dangles, which may cause brief discomfort for people with smaller piercings or who haven’t worn earrings lately. Wearing them for a few hours each day should resolve the discomfort within a few days. - Sleeping in Earrings
We don't recommend sleeping in them, although many customers do. It's just that sleeping in them can put prolonged pressure on the glue and can cause the posts to come off and/or the backs to loosen. - For Healed Piercings Only

Glad the tag came with a message that the nylon was thicker than regular wire. It took my ears a couple times to get used to the diameter. I hope my little granddaughters won’t have trouble with the little ducks I bought for them. They are very pretty and will go well with summery outfits.
