Emma’s pro tips...

  • Insert and remove them straight on, never at an angle. They like the gentle treatment.
  • If you need a tighter fit, a tiny pinch will firm them up (but don’t go Hulk on them).
  • Avoid loosening of backs but not sleeping, showering, or swimming in them.  That would also void our warranty.
  • ⚠️ Important!  Our dangle earrings don’t need backs — seriously, don’t use them! Backs on dangles can put stress on the hooks and void your Earrings by Emma warranty. 
  • Every pair of our studs already comes with backs, and with proper wear and care, you’ll rarely need extras.

What to Know About Our Earrings

  • No Backs Needed for Dangles
    Dangles hug your ear with their curved design, so no backs are needed or included.
  • Extra Backs for Studs
    Studs include two sets of backs, with one set provided as a backup.
  • Thicker Posts on Studs
    Stud earrings have thicker posts than dangles, which may cause brief discomfort for people with smaller piercings or who haven’t worn earrings lately. Wearing them for a few hours each day should resolve the discomfort within a few days.
  • Sleeping in Earrings
    We don't recommend sleeping in them, although many customers do.  It's just that sleeping in them can put prolonged pressure on the glue and can cause the posts to come off and/or the backs to loosen.
  • For Healed Piercings Only
    Our plastic posts are not recommended for new piercings, only healed piercings.

Store owner replied: We recommend you remove our earrings for sleeping and showering since these activities may increase the chances for bending the flexible posts and loosening the backs. It also voids our warranty.

I love the plastic earrings for both myself and my granddaughters with sensitive ears. This was my second order. I’m curious as to why both orders I did not get the free gift that the website advertised. What specifically did I need to do besides pushing the free earring tab.? Thank you!

I bought the large size earring backs, for post earrings. I like them very much! These stay in place, and they're easier to put on. The size makes them easier to hold. How many times have you dropped an earring back? And, it's lost forever. Right? So, Emma earrings are the best. They're customer service is excellent too!
