I have systemic lupus, so my ears started rejecting ANYTHING I put in my ears. Despite me getting my ears pierced over 26 years ago, they randomly started getting issues with even pure gold. I haven’t been able to wear earrings in years! Gold, silver, platinum, hypoallergenic, it didn’t matter, all of them made my ears burn. When I saw these plastic earrings, I decided to give them a try. At first my right ear only was a bit uncomfortable, but that was probably just because my hole was very small and the 4 mm plastic post was a bit bigger, so my hole had to stretch a bit. But after wearing them for one day, they felt fine with zero irritation and they never burned. ALL other earrings burn inside my ear within five minutes! I actually fell asleep with them in my ear, and woke up highly impressed with no discomfort! I will definitely be ordering more. I’m so excited at the opportunity to be able to wear a pair of earrings again. Anyone with sensitive ears should give these a chance! You won’t be sorry you did!

I’ve always had sensitivity to metals, especially in my earlobes. The only discomfort I had wearing these was that I’m not used to being able to wear them! No swelling. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have extremely sensitive ears and had gotten to the point that I couldn't wear earrings for an extended period—or even sleep in them—without my earlobes becoming irritated. I even tried implant-grade titanium posts with silicone backs and still had problems. I decided to try Earrings by Emma because of the plastic posts, and WOW! I have worn my 8 mm pearl studs for two days straight, even slept in them, and have had ZERO irritation. I also ordered several other pairs and have already worn the flower studs comfortably. I am so excited to be able to wear earrings again without my ears hurting! If you have very sensitive ears, these are absolutely worth trying.

I have always gotten very itchy when I use an earring on my second piercing and get infected so I always end up taking them off and it’s like they close and I can’t put another one unless I literally keep pushing until it breaks and the earring goes in which I had to do when I bought these but 3 days later they healed and now I’m loving it and they are not itchy or red or infected after 20+ years I can finally wear a second earring.
