  • No Backs Needed for Dangles
    Dangles hug your ear with their curved design, so no backs are needed or included.
  • Extra Backs for Studs
    Studs include two sets of backs, with one set provided as a backup.
  • Thicker Posts on Studs
    Stud earrings have thicker posts than dangles, which may cause brief discomfort for people with smaller piercings or who haven’t worn earrings lately. Wearing them for a few hours each day should resolve the discomfort within a few days.
  • Sleeping in Earrings
    We don't recommend sleeping in them, although many customers do.  It's just that sleeping in them can put prolonged pressure on the glue and can cause the posts to come off and/or the backs to loosen.
  • For Healed Piercings Only
    Our plastic posts are not recommended for new piercings, only healed piercings.

The plastic makes things a lot easier. What I didn't realize, and made me skeptical of buying, was the design isn't plastic! I do wish they would make that known on the website. I thought it was 3D printed or something as some pictures look that way and they mention it being a home school project. With that clarity, I believe they would get more sales. Very impressed with these for the price point. Well done!

Struggled since i was a little girl with finding earrings that i could wear that didnt cause pain, swelling, skin almost as if been eaten away by the metal, and bleeding. I cant even use surgical steel so spending $$$$$$ on gold and silver was not possible, so finding these now that im nearly 40 is amazing! They are cute and so gental on my ears!!! Wore for a short bit the first day, no issues other than tender from not wearing any for a while, but the next time i wore them through a full 9 hour shift at work and showed off to my family, so comfortable, no tenderness, no bleeding, just bliss. Will definitely be buying more for myself and my daughter who has the same issue as i do! Thank you so much for creating something so amazing!!!!

I love Earrings by Emma! I don't wear earrings everyday so putting them in still pinches but I have not had the same issues I've had with metal! The earrings are cute and to my surprise the earring designs are metal! At least the ones I bought. Just the post is plastic so they're great quality! I fully intend on future purchases!
