Stud earrings have thicker posts than dangles, which may cause brief discomfort for people with smaller piercings or who haven’t worn earrings lately. Wearing them for a few hours each day should resolve the discomfort within a few days. - Sleeping in Earrings
We don't recommend sleeping in them, although many customers do. It's just that sleeping in them can put prolonged pressure on the glue and can cause the posts to come off and/or the backs to loosen. - For Healed Piercings Only

Beautiful earrings and the plastic studs appear larger than others and thus I'm not concerned about them going through her ear. My only issue is the tip of the stud is sharp and can poke her while putting them in or taking them out. The rubber stops are large and secure. I'll be ordering again and would love some dangling earrings for my 4-year-old.

Store owner replied: I'm so glad the earrings work well for your daughter! If they are too sharp, you can snip them with scissors or nail clippers. Our newer posts are more blunt so if you happen to get some of those, they should be better for you as well.
The earrings are so freaking cute and appear to be well made. I love them and I think my granddaughter will love them. My only issue is that I didn't know until I purchased them that the posts are supposedly larger than normal earring posts. They did hurt my ears for the first day or so. I am not sure if they will be too big for my 8 year old granddaughter.
