Stud earrings have thicker posts than dangles, which may cause brief discomfort for people with smaller piercings or who haven’t worn earrings lately. Wearing them for a few hours each day should resolve the discomfort within a few days. - Sleeping in Earrings
We don't recommend sleeping in them, although many customers do. It's just that sleeping in them can put prolonged pressure on the glue and can cause the posts to come off and/or the backs to loosen. - For Healed Piercings Only

I love these earrings. They took a few days of wearing before they were completely comfortable. As mentioned in the instructions, the posts are slightly thicker than metal posts, so my ears had to stretch. But once they did, these were very comfortable.

Store owner replied: I'm sorry to hear about the earring bending upon insertion. Unfortunately, that is not covered under our warranty. The nature of plastic does require some different treatment like inserting posts and applying backs straight on rather than at an angle. Also, they should be removed for sleeping and showering but otherwise. If they do break on our behalf, we have a 2 year warranty for that.
The colors are so pretty! This is fitting in with the color palette of my clothes just perfectly.
I purchased the earrings for my 8 year old granddaughter who, like me have an allergic reaction to metals. So far I'm getting great feedback from her mom, my daughter stating no playing with the earrings trying to relieve the pain she was experiencing. No more loosing her earrings at school due to the playing with them. We are so grateful for you! I myself will be ordering some for me very soon.
So far I am not having a big reaction to the material. My lobes are tender, but I am waiting it out as I have not worn earrings in a long time. I will say, they do not inflame my earlobes… fingers crossed because I love the design and hope to get more. It’s only been a week.

Worked great. I thought part of the back had broken off at first, when I removed it from the packaging. Until I realized that’s intentional, to protect the earring during shipping. Earrings look great! I’ll probably order more. My ears have a strong allergic reaction to even trace amounts of nickel that can be found in 14-carat gold. I have just a few classically styled, small 18-carat earrings. The new earrings I ordered enable me to wear new styles just for fun. Genius product!

Store owner replied: I’m sorry to hear about the discomfort. The most common reason someone might have an issue with plastic is more the thicker size of the post than the plastic material itself. This is usually just the case for people that have tiny ear piercings or if you haven’t worn earrings for a while. If you can wear the earrings for a few days, just 20 minutes per day, while there could be some initial temporary discomfort during the transition period, there is not usually further irritation. If you aren’t interested in working through that transition period, email us about our refund policy.
