Hi, I love the earrings. The design in super cute and light weight. However, I am not able to keep them in my ears longer than 20 minutes. I have tried wearing them a few different times, but have to take off after a few. This time, I had a hard time pulling out of my left ear. Im soo sad as I was soo hopeful these were going to allow me to wear earrings again! 😢 they are soo cute and will still recommend to friends and family and would love to sell them in my store!

This is usually just the case for people that have tiny ear piercings or if you haven’t worn earrings for a while. If you can wear the earrings for a few days, even if it's just for 20 minutes a day, while there could be some initial temporary discomfort during the transition period, there is not usually further irritation. These are super cute, small, and perfect for our 10 year old daughter who has issues with metals irritating her ears. We absolutely LOVE the plastic posts; they have been a total game changer for her! She loves being able to wear cute earrings and be “cool” like her friends without dealing with the pain and irritation she gets from metal posts. I bought three pairs for my ten year old daughter. Unfortunately they were too thick for her holes. I can wear them though and they are comfortable for me.

Store owner replied: Plastic posts are slightly thicker than metal ones so for some people with tiny piercings, there may be an initial temporary transition period. If she can wear the earrings for just 20 minutes a day for a week, that usually does the trick. Also our dangle hooks aren't quite as thick so that may be an easier transition.

Good to Know

What are the posts and hooks made of?

Posts and hooks are made from polycarbonate plastic, and the backs are a soft plastic called TPE. Some earring fronts include metal, but nothing metal touches your ear.

Do the dangles need backs?

No. The curved hooks stay in on their own, so backs aren’t needed or included.

Why do the studs come with two backs?

You get two sizes so you can pick the fit you like, plus a spare in case one goes missing.

Are they OK for new piercings?

They’re made for healed piercings only.

Can I sleep in them?

We don’t recommend it. Sleeping in them puts pressure on the glue, which can loosen the backs or pop a post off.

Will the stud posts feel thick?

Stud posts are a little thicker than dangle hooks. If your piercings are small or you haven’t worn earrings in a while, they may feel snug at first. Wearing them a few hours a day usually fixes that within a few days.
