  • No Backs Needed for Dangles
    Dangles hug your ear with their curved design, so no backs are needed or included.
  • Extra Backs for Studs
    Studs include two sets of backs, with one set provided as a backup.
  • Thicker Posts on Studs
    Stud earrings have thicker posts than dangles, which may cause brief discomfort for people with smaller piercings or who haven’t worn earrings lately. Wearing them for a few hours each day should resolve the discomfort within a few days.
  • Sleeping in Earrings
    We don't recommend sleeping in them, although many customers do.  It's just that sleeping in them can put prolonged pressure on the glue and can cause the posts to come off and/or the backs to loosen.
  • For Healed Piercings Only
    Our plastic posts are not recommended for new piercings, only healed piercings.

Store owner replied: The most common reason someone might have an issue with plastic is more the thicker size of the post than the plastic material itself. This is usually just the case for people that have tiny ear piercings or if you haven’t worn earrings for a while. If you can wear the earrings for a few days, even if it's just for 20 minutes a day, while there could be some initial temporary discomfort during the transition period, there is not usually further irritation. If you don't want to deal with the transition period, you are welcome to email us about our refund policy.

I have had problems with earrings for years and thought it was just me. I came across earrings by Emma and what a difference!! I can wear the earrings all day and night without any discomfort or pain. Plus they are really cute!

Store owner replied: We are so glad you love our earrings! We actually recommend that you remove the earrings for sleeping and showering since it can increase the chance for bending the posts and loosening the backs. It also voids our warranty.

The earrings arrived when expected and looked really cute. Unfortunately they still cause my ears to hurt and swell.

I absolutely love these earrings and all I have gotten. I can't wait to buy more!!! I'm 64 years old and gave up wearing earrings about 15 years ago because no matter what type of metal I tried my ears would just get sore. I have been wearing these with absolutely no problems at all and I feel so good being able to wear them out and about and especially to work again. Thank you for an awesome product!!!!
